About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part Time After School Dedicated Support Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the academic and personal growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Student Learning: Assist students with their academic goals and provide individualized support to help them succeed.
  • Behavioral Support: Implement behavioral strategies to promote positive behavior and social skills in students.
  • Classroom Management: Assist in maintaining a safe and organized classroom environment that promotes learning and exploration.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to student support.
  • Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting students with diverse needs.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in youth development, child care, or a school setting.
  • Education: High school diploma or General Education Development Certificate (GED) required.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a passion for supporting students with diverse needs.
