About the Role:
Apollo After School is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistants to join our team of educators. As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in providing a high-quality learning environment and supporting the implementation of classroom curriculum and weekly lesson plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing a safe and secure environment for children enrolled in our after-school programs.
- Support the implementation of classroom curriculum and weekly lesson plans, ensuring a fun and engaging learning experience for students.
- Assist with homework completion and provide additional support to students as needed.
- Collaborate with peers to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Assess and solve problems associated with elementary-aged children, providing creative solutions to challenges.
Requirements:
- Ability to command respect and cooperation in an elementary classroom setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

- Experience working with children, ages 4-10, preferably in a school or after-school setting.
