Dürr operates through five key divisions:
  • Paint and Final Assembly Systems: Specialized solutions for paint shops and assembly systems in the automotive sector.
  • Application Technology: Advanced robotic technologies for the automated application of paints, sealants, and adhesives.
  • Clean Technology Systems: Innovative exhaust-air purification and energy efficiency technologies.
  • Process Systems: Comprehensive balancing systems along with assembly, testing, and filling technologies.
  • Woodworking Machinery and Systems: Cutting-edge machinery and equipment tailored for the woodworking industry.

Position Summary:
The role of the Industrial Parts Sales Consultant involves engaging with both external and internal stakeholders to drive the Industrial Products business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process orders by coordinating with fulfillment teams, providing delivery timelines, and addressing stock availability.
  • Utilize product knowledge to effectively respond to customer inquiries.
  • Conduct follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Identify and route qualified sales opportunities to Key Account Managers for further engagement.
  • Generate new sales leads through proactive outreach and follow-up on incoming inquiries.
  • Achieve sales targets while employing best practices in customer service and communication.
  • Stay updated on competitor offerings and market trends.
  • Maintain a comprehensive database of current and prospective clients.

Quality Assurance:
Ensure quality standards are met and suggest improvements to enhance operational procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and bills of materials.
  • Experience in the automotive sector is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SAP systems is essential.

Physical Requirements:
While performing job duties, the incumbent may need to:
  • Occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Climb ladders or stairs as necessary.
  • Engage in various physical activities such as stooping, kneeling, or crouching.

Work Environment:
This is a full-time role with flexible scheduling, subject to managerial approval. Some evening and weekend work may be required based on business needs.

Travel Requirements:
Periodic travel may be necessary, up to 10%, which could include local and international destinations.
