- Drive sales growth by nurturing existing accounts and exploring opportunities with newly assigned clients.
- Identify customer-specific operational and technical requirements to provide tailored product recommendations.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, adhering to MSC's standards and business practices.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve collective sales objectives.
- Maintain accurate sales records and generate relevant reports for management review.
- Monitor budgetary compliance and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Develop a personal business strategy under management guidance to meet individual sales goals.
- Exhibit fundamental sales techniques and demonstrate a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Embrace and promote the MSC Culture to foster unity and support the company's mission.
- Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience is essential.
- Experience in metalworking or MRO products is preferred.
Skills Required
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities are essential.
- Exceptional customer service skills are required.
Compensation
The starting compensation for this role ranges from $28 to $42 per hour, depending on the candidate's location and experience. Actual compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, educational background, and peer pay equity. MSC reserves the right to adjust the compensation range as market conditions evolve.
