Patient Access Representative

Cleveland Clinic is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Access Representative to join our team. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our patients receive exceptional service and care from the moment they arrive at our facility.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Exceptional Customer Service: You will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors, and will be responsible for providing a warm and welcoming experience.
- Manage Patient Registration and Scheduling: You will be responsible for registering patients, scheduling appointments, and managing patient flow to ensure a smooth and efficient experience.
- Process Insurance and Billing: You will be responsible for processing insurance claims, managing billing, and ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Collaborate with Clinical Staff: You will work closely with our clinical staff to ensure that patients receive the best possible care, and will be responsible for communicating with patients and families to provide updates and information.
- Participate in Process Improvement: You will be responsible for identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance the patient experience and improve operational efficiency.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent to be considered for this role.
- Customer Service Experience: You must have at least two years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent Communication Skills: You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively communicate with patients, families, and clinical staff.
- Ability to Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
