A major automotive supplier is seeking a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Specialist to join its dynamic finance team. This is a permanent position, ideal for a professional who is ready to take their career to the next level within the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be a critical member of the team, responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment processing, and vendor discrepancy resolution. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain the highest levels of accuracy and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role, preferably within the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire accounts receivable process, including preparing and sending invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records. They will also be responsible for reconciling accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted. Additionally, they will investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries related to accounts receivable, and resolve vendor discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner. The candidate will also collaborate with the sales and customer service departments to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction. They will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to accounts receivable, and ensure compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures. The successful candidate will also assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance workflow efficiency.
