Environmental Health and Safety Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) professional to join our team at voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, as well as maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety and environmental programs to prevent unsafe working conditions on the plant floor.
- Work closely with our manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure ISO14001 and government requirements are met.
- Conduct risk assessments through job hazard analysis (JSA's) and identify potential environmental, safety, and health hazards.
- Collaborate with safety resources, agencies, and management to identify issues and improve adherence to safety rules.
- Lead company-wide environmental initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Five years of related experience and/or training in EHS.
- Technical engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10% and possibly internationally.
