Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Business Development Sales Representative I to join our team at voestalpine Roll Forming Corporation. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers, and driving sales growth through the entire sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and prospecting
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers to increase sales and customer satisfaction
  • Drive sales growth through the entire sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, and closing deals
  • Work closely with subject matter experts to support or lead product launches and develop go-to-market strategies for clients
  • Analyze requests for quotes and implement prospecting plans to expand our reach
  • Develop and maintain sales action plans to achieve sales goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Communications, or Mechanical Engineering from a four-year college or university
  • Entry-level experience (up to 2 years) in B2B sales position
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation skills and experience with public speaking
  • Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
  • Ability to work accurately with details and communicate complex problems at a technical level
  • High proficiency with Office software, including Excel and PowerPoint, and ability to learn new software
  • Project management skills and experience with product launch cycle preferred
  • Metal manufacturing processes or industry experience preferred
  • Ability to work onsite in our Shelbyville, KY manufacturing facility and travel approximately 30-40% domestically and potentially 10% internationally
