Job Title: Director of Revenue Cycle Management

At Associates in Pediatric Therapy LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Revenue Cycle Management to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Director of Revenue Cycle Management will be responsible for leading the revenue cycle department, ensuring timely and accurate billing and processing of cash receipts, minimizing bad debt, and managing the overall health of accounts receivable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the revenue cycle department, including performance management, EMR training, coaching, and efficient workflow
  • Ensure timely and accurate billing and processing of cash receipts
  • Minimize bad debt and manage the overall health of accounts receivable
  • Prepare and monitor financial reports, providing analysis as needed to Executive Leadership
  • Manage EHR catalogs and schedules, recruit and interview candidates as needed, and provide staff development and training
  • Implement written policies and procedures that govern the accounting functions of the facility, ensuring APT compliance with all state and federal billing and collection practices
  • Responsible for payor contracting, assisting in balancing of accounts receivable as necessary, and serving as APT liaison with third-party credentialing companies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of electronic billing experience and 5+ years of staff management experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, effective problem-solving skills, and ability to analyze and interpret patient financial accounts

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel to other APT locations as required
  • Ability to move freely around the office, lift, push, or pull up to 30 pounds, and sit for brief to extended periods of time and work on a computer
