Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. This is a permanent position, ideal for a professional who is ready to take their career to the next level within the manufacturing industry.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the entire accounts receivable process, including preparing and sending invoices, processing payments, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and correctly posted.
  • Investigate and resolve any irregularities or enquiries related to accounts receivable.
  • Resolve vendor discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service departments to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to accounts receivable.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal controls and established policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance workflow efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, particularly related to accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
  • Exceptional ability to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
