About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for the company's financial processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare and maintain regular financial planning reports, including monthly profit and loss forecasts and weekly cash flow forecasts.
* Complete analysis of financial results and develop recommendations for strategic and tactical improvements.
* Assist in the development of financial planning and analysis spreadsheets and reports.
* Develop and execute processes to allow for routine analytical reviews of company financial and operational performance.
* Prepare journal entries and reconcile general ledger and subsidiary accounts.
* Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation of selected asset and liability accounts for accuracy.
* Analyze and reconcile payroll expenses and deductions.
* Prepare and manage credit memos and handle unapplied cash.
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
* 2+ years of experience in Accounting or related field, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
* Proficiency in Accounts Payable & Receivable, General Ledger Accounting, and Account Reconciliation.
* Strong understanding of accounting theory and principles.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* Strong attention to detail, with a high degree of accuracy and precision.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
