About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to drive our expansion into the US Federal market. As a key member of our Public Sector Sales team, you will be responsible for building and executing a go-to-market strategy across the Department of Defense (DoD) and Civilian sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a High-Performing Federal Sales Team: Develop and execute tailored strategies to drive success across DoD and Civilian sectors.
  • Build and Execute Comprehensive GTM Plans: Align with Wiz's overall objectives and federal customer needs to drive revenue growth.
  • Demonstrate Expertise in Cloud Security Solutions: Effectively communicate the value of Wiz's solutions to federal customers, ensuring alignment with mission-critical requirements.
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Leverage your network and understanding of federal acquisition processes to expand Wiz's presence in the US Federal space.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with marketing, product development, solutions engineering, and customer success teams to ensure an integrated approach to sales.
  • Analysis and Improvement: Analyze sales performance metrics to continuously improve team efficiency and outcomes, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and federal market demands.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the federal government to foster long-term partnerships.

Requirements
  • 8+ Years of Federal Sales Leadership Experience: Proven track record of building and executing successful GTM strategies within the US Federal market, driving significant revenue growth.
  • Proven Leadership Skills: Demonstrated success in leading a team of enterprise and major account executives focused on federal sales.
  • Industry Expertise: In-depth knowledge of federal procurement processes, compliance (including FedRAMP), and acquisition lifecycles.
  • Cloud Security Solutions: Strong understanding of cloud security solutions and their applicability within federal environments.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and navigate complex sales cycles in the federal space.
Requirements and Eligibility

Candidates must meet EAR part 772 and ITAR definition of a U.S. person and reside in the contiguous United States.
