Federal Business Development Director

Pearl Interactive Network is seeking a highly skilled Federal Business Development Director to drive sales growth and business expansion within the federal sector.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving growth and closing profitable contracts within the federal sector.
This individual will demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a high level of technological proficiency, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing market dynamics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and achieve revenue targets within the federal market segment.
- Conducting market research, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and leveraging existing relationships and actively cultivating new partnerships with government agencies and prime contractors.
- Leading the federal sales team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to drive performance and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, and internal teams, to support business objectives.
- Driving the development of compelling proposals and presentations that effectively communicate Pearl Interactive Network's value proposition and differentiate us in the marketplace.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams and contract stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of contracts, ensuring client expectations are exceeded.
- Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to optimize business development processes and enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Providing regular updates and reporting on sales activities, pipeline development, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- 15+ years of demonstrated track record in Business Development, with a proven track record of success in selling to federal government clients and agencies.
- Extensive knowledge of the federal contracting landscape, including procurement processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with commercial and government systems that support the federal capture process, e.g., Deltek GovWin, FedBizOpps (FBO), Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS), and the System for Award Management (SAM).
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating high-performing sales teams.
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in CRM systems, sales automation tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
