Job Title: Senior Director, Federal Business Development

Acquisition NexGen is seeking a seasoned Senior Director to lead our Federal Business Development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving growth and expansion in the Federal market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to drive growth and expansion in the Federal market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the Department of Justice and its Directorates.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including GWAC/IDIQ task orders in the Federal IT market.
  • Develop and manage the DOJ pipeline, ensuring a steady stream of qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the National Security Division VP, Portfolio VP, and Vice President of Business Development to develop and implement the company's overall business strategy.
  • Develop and execute a tactical sales strategy for the market segment, including customer research and analysis.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Participate in business development processes, including pipeline reviews, opportunity gate reviews, and black hat sessions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
  • 10-15 years of related experience working in the Information and Technology Federal Government Contracting environment.
  • 10-15 years of Federal Business Development experience, including experience supporting Department of Justice (DOJ) and its Directorates.
  • 10+ years experience in developing pipelines, strategic plans, and new business budgets.
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills, coupled with the ability to establish and maintain productive customer and industry participant networks.
  • Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain a Government Security Clearance.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the DC/MD/VA area.
