Job Description

Chief Carriers, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining new business relationships with customers and carriers, and identifying new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Maintain Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and preferences to identify new business opportunities.
  • Identify New Business Opportunities: Research and identify new business opportunities with potential customers and carriers, and develop strategies to pursue these opportunities.
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets, including identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, and negotiating contracts with customers and carriers.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies.
  • Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance: Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address these areas.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and carriers, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
