General Overview:

The primary responsibility is to accurately record all payments received, including those made during deliveries, through the mail, and from customers visiting the store. This role involves managing the cash drawer effectively. Additionally, the position requires addressing customer inquiries, processing orders, and contacting references for verification. A significant portion of the workload, approximately 40%, is dedicated to enhancing sales to customers.



Key Responsibilities:
Handles incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner, directing them to the appropriate personnel.

Responsible for facilitating sales by aligning customers with suitable merchandise, processing customer orders, confirming order details, and scheduling delivery times.

Maintains a comprehensive file for each customer, ensuring that all information is current.
Completes Rental Agreements and inputs the relevant data into the system.
Ensures that all deliveries are prepared at least one hour before the scheduled time. Aids in planning delivery routes to minimize backtracking and optimize delivery efficiency and costs.

Maintains returned merchandise in a clean and ready state within 48 hours of return.

Ensures the showroom is clean and that all products are correctly priced, operational, and properly displayed.

The initial hours of each day are dedicated to showroom upkeep, condition, cleanliness, and pricing.
Ensures compliance with company pricing guidelines.
Understands and maintains advertising initiatives and promotional programs.
Familiarity with the monthly advertising strategy is essential to assist customers and address inquiries effectively to boost sales.
Conducts follow-ups on deliveries to guarantee customer satisfaction within three days of delivery.

Additional Responsibilities:
Maintains inventory of remote controls and manuals for each item.
Assists the Store Manager in devising and implementing innovative strategies to attract new customers and secure new agreements.
Contributes to maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the store.

Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
No prior retail experience is necessary. Must be capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.

Essential Skills:
Demonstrates a high level of precision, accuracy, coordination, and knowledge of electronics and repair processes.
Ability to comprehend oral and written instructions.
Capability to manage customer and associate interactions effectively.
Post-training, possesses a working knowledge of all electronic and mechanical products in inventory.

Work Environment:
Work is conducted in dynamic settings. The role involves considerable walking, standing, bending, stooping, and lifting.

Due to the nature of the business, the ability to identify alternative solutions and manage the pressures of multiple tasks and changes is crucial.

Additional hours outside of standard business hours may be necessary. Frequent travel between locations may also be required.
Must be able to handle the emotional and mental demands associated with customer interactions.
Utilizes a hand truck for merchandise movement.
Work is typically performed in-store, in the field, and in customers' residences.

In fieldwork, various conditions may be encountered, including transporting merchandise across diverse terrains, such as level ground, dirt, icy, or uneven surfaces.

May encounter stairs, wet or slippery surfaces, and narrow doorways. Requires driving in various weather conditions and exposure to heat, cold, dust, and other uncontrollable elements.
Participation in company training sessions may be necessary.

Interpersonal Relationships:
Requires regular interaction with customers, associates, and upper management. Occasional contact with external business partners (distributors, suppliers, service organizations, etc.) may occur. Effective communication with supervisors, peers, and associates is essential.

Compensation:
$20.00 per hour.
