Retail Sales Representative

General Overview:
The primary responsibility is to accurately record all transactions, including payments made during deliveries, through the mail, and in-store purchases. This role includes managing the cash register and addressing customer inquiries, processing orders, and verifying customer references. A significant focus is placed on enhancing sales to clients, which constitutes about 40% of the job responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Responds to incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner, directing them to the relevant personnel.
Handles customer sales by aligning them with suitable products, processing their orders, confirming details, and coordinating delivery schedules.
Creates and maintains organized customer files with current information.Completes Rental Agreements and inputs data into the system.
Ensures that all deliveries are prepared at least one hour in advance. Aids in planning delivery routes to minimize travel time and costs.
Maintains returned merchandise in a clean and ready-to-sell condition within 48 hours of return.
Ensures the showroom is clean and that all items are properly priced, functional, and ready for demonstration.
The initial hours of each day are dedicated to showroom upkeep, cleanliness, and pricing accuracy.Ensures compliance with pricing policies.
Understands and maintains advertising and promotional programs effectively.
Familiarity with the monthly advertising initiatives is essential for addressing customer inquiries and facilitating sales.
Conducts follow-ups on deliveries to confirm customer satisfaction within three days of delivery.
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintains inventory manuals and remote controls for all products.
Assists the Store Manager in devising innovative strategies to attract new customers and secure new agreements.
Contributes to the overall cleanliness and organization of the store.
Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required.
No prior retail experience necessary. Must be capable of lifting and transporting items weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
Essential Skills:
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and knowledge of electronic products and repair methods.
Ability to comprehend both verbal and written instructions.
Skilled in managing customer and colleague interactions effectively.
Post-training, possesses a working knowledge of all electronic and mechanical items in stock.
Work Environment:
Work is conducted in dynamic settings. The role involves considerable walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
Due to the nature of the business, the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial.
Additional hours outside regular business hours may be necessary. Travel between locations may also be required.Must be able to handle the emotional and mental demands associated with customer interactions.
Utilizes a hand truck for merchandise movement.
Work occurs primarily in-store, in the field, and at customer residences.
Fieldwork may involve various conditions, including transporting items across diverse terrains and navigating obstacles.
Potential exposure to varying weather conditions, as well as heat, cold, dust, and other environmental factors.Participation in company training sessions may be required.
Interpersonal Relationships:
Frequent interaction with customers, colleagues, and management is necessary. Occasional communication with external partners such as distributors and service providers may occur. Effective communication with supervisors and peers is essential.
Compensation:
