Key Responsibilities:
The individual in this role will be tasked with generating demand for Bayer's seed growth, crop protection, and seed offerings among retailers, dealers, and prominent growers, while aiming to meet annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
The primary duties include:
- Achieving set sales objectives for Bayer products in collaboration with fellow team members.
- Developing and executing business strategies with retailers, managing forecasts, and addressing inventory and product demand challenges.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to retailers and large-scale growers, effectively communicating the benefits of Bayer's agricultural products.
- Showcasing product performance against competitors by leveraging in-depth knowledge of Bayer's offerings.
- Collaborating with fellow Field Sales Representatives, Customer Business Advisors, and Agronomists to optimize service delivery and sales to key customers.
- Managing inventory issues to align with business objectives.
- Collecting and analyzing market data to inform strategic decisions.
- Implementing long-term and short-term business plans for key accounts.
- Effectively managing expenses and adhering to company policies.
- Demonstrating initiative in enhancing sales skills and product knowledge.
- Ensuring successful execution of marketing initiatives and program fulfillment.
- Mentoring junior team members as needed.
- Traveling approximately 60% of the time within the designated region.
