Position Overview
To enhance our Strategic Vertical Sales Team, we are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Global Account Manager. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and managing design-in/design wins for our consumer products on a global scale. The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal sales teams and distribution partners to stimulate new design activities, accurately forecast revenue, engage technically with engineers, and strategically identify high-potential opportunities. Building and nurturing relationships with Microsoft Consumer's executive and engineering teams, as well as procurement and distribution, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement sales strategies to optimize revenue growth and enhance market presence, positioning Renesas as a preferred supplier.
- Take ownership of opportunity discovery, design-in processes, and comprehensive revenue management.
- Ensure precise forecasting of customer revenue on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with Field Application Engineers and manage technical resources across various Business Units.
- Lead and coordinate global, cross-functional teams effectively.
- Establish and maintain robust relationships with customer engineering, purchasing, and management personnel at all levels.
- Exhibit a strong motivation to promote solution-based silicon offerings.
Qualifications
- Preferred Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical and executive sales experience within the semiconductor sector.
- Demonstrated success in managing direct account responsibilities and driving growth.
- Exceptional customer interaction and negotiation skills; results-oriented and a collaborative team player.
- Self-motivated, analytical, detail-oriented, and committed to high-quality work.
- Comfortable and experienced in a global business environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Additional Information
The anticipated annual compensation for this role ranges from $134,000 to $201,000, with eligibility for commission pay. The final offer will be influenced by geographic location, relevant experience, and candidate skillset.
