Job Summary

As a Strategic Account Manager for PUMA North America, Inc., you will be responsible for representing and selling PUMA products to key accounts, based on brand priorities for each account. You will manage, develop, and build upon sustainable and profitable businesses and account partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and prepare product sell-in presentations.
  • Build a strong case by linking PUMA product knowledge and know-how to customers' interests, needs, and goals.
  • Proactive day-to-day account management of 10,000 UPC/ASIN Catalog, 500 Product Detail Page PUMA Digital Amazon and Zappos storefronts.
  • Formalized reporting and analysis of all retailer metrics, trends, insights-sales, inventory, gross margin, customer data-via vendor wholesale portals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing business, attack new business opportunities, and quickly address business challenges/hurdles with well-thought-out solutions.
  • Work in close partnership with and serve as a primary voice and advocate for all of their accounts with all internal PUMA Stakeholders and Cross-Functional Teams.
  • Drive Best-In-Class user experience on each respective retailer's PUMA digital store; partnering to maximize ROI.
  • Execute Amazon New Item Setup templates in Vendor Central.
  • Monitor competitor's activities and performance; implementing strategies and tactics to compete.

Requirements
  • BA/BS with concentration in Sales Management, Business Planning, Digital Marketing, or related areas preferred.
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience with apparel, footwear, accessories Sales, Ecommerce national accounts, & Amazon Ecommerce/Vendor Central.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to build lasting professional relationships.
  • Impeccable communication skills (both oral and written) to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization.
  • Must have a sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects at one time, and to meet tight deadlines.
  • Must be able to adapt to changing market environments, priorities, and tasks with ease, demonstrating flexibility and resilience in dynamic situations.
  • Strong analytical and retail math skills; ability to link strategies and objectives to develop and execute a plan.
  • Very strong computer proficiency in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Ability to travel to accounts, regional/national sales meetings, and corporate offices as needed (at least 15% of the time).
