Position Summary
We are seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves engaging in mechanical engineering project requirements, focusing on hydraulic power units, valve actuation, and hydraulic protection system design.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components for control systems, ensuring compliance with customer and safety standards.
- Create intricate hydraulic manifolds, valve actuators, and piping systems, prioritizing functionality and manufacturability.
- Produce 3D models and 2D part prints for machining processes.
- Design custom fixtures to integrate control components into existing systems.
- Generate detailed CAD drawings for assembly and documentation purposes.
- Conduct assembly and testing of mechanical components, developing and executing test plans, including customer witness tests.
- Assist in the initial start-up and debugging of integrated systems, producing comprehensive system documentation.

Training and Development
- Develop and lead training sessions for customer personnel, including operators and engineers.
- Collaborate on control system integration projects across various industries, including power generation and chemical processing.

Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred; an Associate's degree in Engineering Technology may be considered with relevant experience.
- 0-3 years of experience in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, fluid dynamics, and machining principles is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar design software is preferred.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel as needed.

Work Environment
This position will require working in standard office settings, shop environments, and diverse industrial locations. The role involves frequent use of computers and standard office equipment.
