We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineering Associate to contribute to our projects. This role encompasses various mechanical engineering tasks, including the design and analysis of hydraulic power units, valve actuation systems, and hydraulic protection systems. Responsibilities also include 2D CAD drafting and 3D modeling of mechanical and hydraulic assemblies, as well as system assembly and testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement mechanical components for control systems, ensuring compliance with customer and safety standards.
  • Create intricate hydraulic manifolds and valve actuators, focusing on functionality and manufacturability.
  • Design custom fixtures for integrating control components into existing systems.
  • Generate detailed bills of materials and CAD drawings for manufacturing and assembly.
  • Conduct assembly and testing of mechanical components, including customer witness tests.
  • Support initial system start-up and provide technical documentation.
  • Lead training sessions for client personnel on system operation and maintenance.
  • Engage in projects across various industries, including power generation and chemical processing.
  • Exhibit strong project management skills, demonstrating the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Perform general administrative duties as required.

Qualifications

Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. An Associate's degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience may be considered.

Experience:
0-3 years of relevant experience is preferred, including:

  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their principles.
  • Familiarity with machining principles and material properties.
  • Knowledge of safe practices in using hand and power tools.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar design software is a plus.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform tasks that require visual acuity, dexterity, and physical strength, including lifting and climbing.

Work Environment:
This position involves working in a standard office setting, shop environment, and various industrial locations.
