Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • An Engineer-In-Training Certificate or a commitment to take the Fundamentals of Engineering exam within six months
  • Experience or coursework in concrete, steel, and geotechnical design
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities:
As a Geo-Structural Engineer, your duties will include:
  • Conducting calculations for foundation systems, including helical piles and micro piles
  • Developing analysis models for steel, wood, and concrete structures
  • Utilizing spreadsheets, word processing software, structural design tools, and geo-structural design applications
  • Creating foundation designs and shop drawings using AutoCAD
  • Performing site visits for inspections, pile logging, and load testing
