Position Summary
We are seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer to contribute to our projects. This role involves mechanical engineering tasks related to hydraulic power units, valve actuation, and hydraulic system design. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing mechanical components for control systems, ensuring compliance with customer and safety standards.
  • Creating complex hydraulic manifolds and piping systems, focusing on functionality and manufacturability.
  • Producing detailed CAD drawings and specifications for system components.
  • Conducting assembly and testing of mechanical systems, including the development of test plans.
  • Providing support during system start-up and debugging processes.
  • Leading training sessions for client personnel on machinery operation and technical support.
  • Managing projects independently while maintaining effective communication with clients and team members.

Qualifications
Education:
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferred. An Associate degree in Engineering Technology or equivalent experience may be considered.

Experience:
0-3 years of relevant experience is preferred, including:

  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as fluid dynamics.
  • Familiarity with machining principles and material properties.
  • Experience with hand and power tools for machinery assembly and testing.
  • Knowledge of turbomachinery and auxiliary equipment in industrial settings is a plus.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform tasks that include seeing, hearing, and manual dexterity, as well as lifting and climbing.

Work Environment:
Standard office and shop environments, with frequent use of computers and tools.
