  • Plan, schedule, and oversee the movement of materials throughout the production cycle to ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate new product introductions as required.
  • Provide management with insights for rescheduling in response to design modifications, labor and material shortages, backlogs, and other potential disruptions.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects or issues simultaneously, either by facilitating or leading with minimal supervision.
  • Employ creative problem-solving skills to gather relevant information and address less clearly defined planning challenges.
  • Set goals, review, and update supervisors throughout the year, and complete performance management documentation.
  • Implement changes to material masters, product structures, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and routing as necessary.
  • Reassess orders and requirements as needed by analyzing demand trends, lead time variations, minimum order quantities, standard batch sizes, and safety stock levels.
  • Follow up on outstanding orders and partial shipments, expediting as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments to resolve issues.
  • Identify and proactively communicate inventory stock level risks to relevant stakeholders.
  • Analyze root causes of stockouts and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain knowledge of ISO/FDA, GMP, ISO regulations, and other compliance requirements for diagnostics manufacturing.
  • Control all documentation related to the operations planning function, including backlog reports, lead-time analysis, shop floor orders, delivery performance, and production status reports.
  • Manage replenishment levels for applicable safety stocking programs.
  • Evaluate capacity requirements, continuously monitor production readiness and material availability, and support activities related to MRP system maintenance.
  • Understand and implement relevant company and departmental policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ensure compliance with corporate, site, and regulatory policies and practices.
  • Demonstrated project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of ISO/FDA, GMP, ISO regulations, and other regulatory requirements for diagnostics manufacturing.
  • OSHA safety compliance is required.
  • Highly responsive to both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization to meet requirements.
  • Proficient in writing reports, business correspondence, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate to implement improvements and cost-saving initiatives in a timely manner.
