Job Summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist II to join our team. As a key member of our distribution team, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver building materials to customers within a 200-mile radius of our branch, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
  • Operate commercial vehicles in compliance with all DOT regulations, maintaining a clean driving record and adhering to safety protocols.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Validate and confirm inventory loaded on the truck, comparing purchase orders and sign-off on delivery tickets.
  • Perform job site inspections to document any existing damage to lawns, landscaping, or driveways, and identify potential hazards.
  • Capture photos of delivered building products in accordance with company policy.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to load and unload building products weighing up to 100 lbs. each, off a straight bed truck on a continuous basis.
  • Safe driving record with no hit-and-run incidents or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years.
  • Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT and OSHA safety regulations for Logistics Specialists.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age (21 years of age for interstate driving or transporting hazardous materials).
  • Pass a required drug test and possess a current DOT medical certificate.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
