Position Summary:

The Manufacturing Operator I plays a crucial role in the final packaging of diverse product lines within the Biotech sector. This position requires adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instruction Documents to ensure quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and monitor production machinery, making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal performance and product quality.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians to execute filling, labeling, and packaging tasks.
  • Review and understand production documentation, including product and label reconciliations, labor records, and quality checks.
  • Strictly follow manufacturing documentation without deviations.
  • Safely handle chemicals and hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and procedures established by the company.
  • Adhere to ISO 13485 standards and company-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, machinery, and equipment as required.
  • Effectively communicate and work collaboratively with team members to achieve project goals.
  • Adapt to a fast-paced work environment with shifting priorities.
  • Be available for overtime and flexible shifts as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly stand, walk, and use hands for handling objects and tools.
  • Frequently reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods when necessary.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Vision capabilities include close and distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work in an environment with moderate noise levels.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Prior experience in production or laboratory settings is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with basic packaging techniques and equipment operation.
  • Comfortable with handling chemicals.
  • Strong mathematical and computational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately without deviation.
