As a key liaison between our Marketing and Sales teams, you'll be responsible for seeking new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential customers.

This is a junior sales role with potential for growth within the sales org or other departments within the company, depending on your skills and interests.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Response and Triage: Respond to and triage all inbound leads promptly, ensuring a swift and efficient follow-up process to capitalize on potential opportunities.
  • Lead Qualification and Nurturing: Qualify leads from marketing campaigns and nurture them through personalized follow-ups to increase conversion rates.
  • Multi-Channel Client Engagement: Utilize a tailored approach to contact potential clients via cold calls, emails, and social media, with the support of Marketing, ensuring a consistent message across channels.
  • Client Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify client requirements and suggest appropriate products/services aligned with their goals.
  • Value Proposition Presentation: Effectively present the company's value proposition, highlighting how solutions address client pain points and objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, learning solutions, operations, finance, and legal, to provide comprehensive, tailored solutions to clients.
  • Account Director Facilitation: Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and Account Directors, ensuring all parties are well-prepared.
  • Pipeline Insights Reporting to Acquire New Clients: Deliver weekly pipeline updates to leadership, highlighting key metrics, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • New Business Opportunities: Continuously research market trends and proactively seek and plan new opportunities for LifeHikes to showcase our services to potential clients, in close collaboration with Marketing.
  • Product and Pricing Knowledge: Regularly update knowledge of new products/services and pricing/payment plans to ensure accurate information is communicated to clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop long-term, trusting relationships with clients through regular check-ins and personalized communication.
Requirements
  • 2 years of proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls).
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas.
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, and ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal, nonverbal), negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited oversight.
  • You do some of your best work when you are in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
  • Hungry to learn and take responsibility for your own growth, knowledge and development.
  • Eager to learn and collaborate with experienced sales professionals.
Compensation

This is a commission eligible role with an expected on-target earnings of $85,000-105,000 per year. This will be earned through a combination of earned revenue percentage and a flat bonus for booking qualified meetings for Account Directors.
