Key Responsibilities

The Facilities Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of all utilities, services, and essential systems. This position involves:

  • Creating and executing comprehensive maintenance strategies, including vendor management and capital project oversight.
  • Conducting regular assessments of properties to identify and address potential issues, ensuring all facilities meet our high standards.
  • Managing budgets effectively to optimize resource allocation.
  • Collaborating with various teams to facilitate the onboarding of new vendors and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Coordinating with contractors to ensure timely completion of construction projects and maintenance tasks.
  • Maintaining relationships with service providers to ensure adherence to contract terms and quality standards.
  • Implementing property inspections and reviews to identify areas for improvement and sustainability initiatives.
  • Responding to facilities-related inquiries from team members and providing timely resolutions.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in property maintenance management.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a management or director role.
  • Strong technical skills in building maintenance, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Proficiency in asset management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements

Candidates should be capable of performing moderate lifting and have good vision and hearing.
