About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Supervisor to join our team at Family Health Centers of San Diego. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for providing operational management of our facilities and ensuring that our facilities and equipment are safe, clean, and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Lead and supervise a team of facilities staff to ensure that all facilities and equipment are properly maintained and operated.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Facilities Management
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
    • Ensure that all facilities and equipment are properly inspected and maintained to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Project Management
    • Manage and coordinate internal remodel projects, including material take-offs, ordering, scheduling, and staff coordination.
    • Develop and implement project plans and timelines to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and external stakeholders to ensure that facilities and equipment are properly maintained and operated.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that facilities and equipment are properly integrated into the overall operations of the organization.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as facilities management, engineering, or construction management.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management, including supervisory or lead experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of facilities staff.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, management, and external stakeholders.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
