Position Overview:
The Construction Project Leader is pivotal in all stages of project planning and execution. This role encompasses the management of all facets of project field operations, ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgets, safety protocols, and quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:
As a leader, you will:

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to construction teams, cultivating a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous enhancement.
  • Oversee all pre-construction activities, including the development of crisis management plans, site logistics, and safety regulations.
  • Manage and supervise all field personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers involved in assigned projects, ensuring effective daily operations.
  • Implement and adjust project schedules as necessary, working closely with the Project Management team to ensure timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with the Project Management team on subcontractor selection and procurement of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Work alongside the Quality Control team to guarantee that project-specific requirements are adhered to.
  • Maintain alignment with the project budget, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
  • Address any issues that arise in collaboration with the Project Management team.
  • Engage with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical challenges and ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Ensure the completion of all project closeout tasks, including punch list execution, commissioning, and final inspections.
  • Promote Lean methodologies and standard work practices on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant regulations.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors.

Qualifications:
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- 20+ years of supervisory experience in construction
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Proficient in computer use
- Proven experience in driving continuous improvement within teams.

Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- Extensive experience in managing large-scale construction projects.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires outdoor work in various weather conditions, exposure to typical construction materials, and the ability to perform tasks at heights using ladders and scaffolds. Employees must be capable of standing, walking, reaching, and using hands for tool handling. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
