Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Inspector to join our team at Actalent. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects meet the required standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform field and laboratory testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Communicate with project managers, engineering technicians, client representatives, and contractors to discuss construction site progress, project requirements, and testing and inspection results.
  • Take material samples with associated documentation for testing and analysis, and quantify and report findings to management.
  • Assist with scheduling and dispatch of technicians to project sites, and adhere to strict safety standards.
  • May be required to travel during the week, with the company providing lodging and a daily per diem.
Requirements
  • ACI Field Level 1 Certification
  • Experience using a nuclear density gauge
Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position, with employees working on construction sites daily to test samples.
