Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify proposal opportunities and deliver comprehensive qualifications, pricing, and estimates to clients.
  • Conduct site visits to determine boring locations and assess site conditions.
  • Oversee project execution to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Process soil samples for advanced analysis.
  • Direct and implement geotechnical project tasks, including engineering analysis, report generation, field exploration, and laboratory services.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Perform on-site observations, sample collection, and specific tests related to geotechnical assessments.
  • Participate in project site meetings.
  • Maintain communication with clients via phone and email.
Qualifications for Success:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or a related discipline.

• 1 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred; however, entry-level candidates will receive training.

• Daily office attendance is required between 8 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

• A preference for hybrid work environments, balancing office duties with fieldwork, with the majority of time spent in an office setting.

Physical Requirements:
  • Capability to lift, move, push, and pull weights ranging from 30 to 50 pounds occasionally; additional requirements may apply based on specific sites.
  • Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication and discern sounds effectively.
  • Occasional kneeling and squatting may be necessary.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
