Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Oversight: Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Team Leadership: Manage and motivate a team of field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project goals.
- Quality Control: Ensure compliance with project-specific requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with clients, design teams, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Identify and resolve project-related issues, making informed decisions to ensure project success.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in construction management or related field preferred.
- Experience: 5-8 years of water/wastewater construction-related experience, with a strong background in project management and leadership.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
The Industrial Water/Wastewater Superintendent will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions, with exposure to dirt, dust, and other materials. The position requires frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to operate tools and equipment. Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.
