Minimum Qualifications:
  • Technical Degree or Certificate Program.
Experience Requirements:
  • No specific experience required, but preference will be given to candidates with a consistent employment background.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and redirect incoming phone inquiries to the appropriate personnel.
  • Address Consumer Fraud calls, ensuring they are directed to the correct agency or providing necessary complaint documentation.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to visitors, assisting with inquiries and guiding them to the right agency or helping with complaint forms.
  • Return calls from voicemail messages promptly.
  • Support Assistant Attorneys General (AAGs) and team members with administrative tasks such as typing, copying, and scanning.
  • File documents at designated offices and courts.
  • Receive and check in deliveries.
  • Open and close files for State Counsel AAG & Charities AAG.
  • Organize and file closed cases for State Counsel AAG & Charities AAG.
  • Sort and distribute mail for the Office of the Attorney General and Medicaid staff.
  • Oversee the management of the video room key.
  • Assist with the scheduling and sign-out of conference room calendars.
  • Log pleadings being served and manage related documentation as needed.
  • Receive and organize memos and save them to the appropriate drive folder.
  • Assist staff with document management.
  • File and interfile archived documents using the designated system.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities, as the role involves interaction with the public.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other essential office software.
Additional Information:
  • Shift Timing: 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with two 15-minute breaks and a 1-hour lunch.
  • Work Schedule: Primarily onsite with limited remote work opportunities.
  • Paid parking options available.
