POSITION SUMMARY
Facilitates the operational functions of the department. Provides administrative and receptionist support for departmental activities and leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree and familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
3-5 years of administrative experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Adept at adapting to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational abilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Exhibits proficiency in computer applications and common software programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Demonstrates competence in systems related to Unity Health System (Unet, Kovis, GroupWise).
Provides assistance and mentorship to staff regarding software education.
Shows proficiency in the automated payroll system, managing KRONOS entries, edits, and report generation. Aids the staffing coordinator with routine payroll tasks.
Understands and adheres to UHS payroll policies and procedures.
Responsible for reviewing, responding to, and/or triaging submissions through the Unity Safety Portal.

Offers support to division leadership/management, including but not limited to: timely and accurate completion of data report generation, management of departmental correspondence, coordination of meeting schedules and calendars, and maintenance of departmental files.

Attends meetings and records minutes as required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.

Jobs are classified as sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

COMPENSATION RANGE:
$ $25.00
The listed base pay range reflects a good faith representation of potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be adjusted in the future. Compensation is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contractual agreements.
