Key Responsibilities:

The U.S. da Vinci Clinical Sales Manager is accountable to the U.S. da Vinci Clinical Sales Director. This role is pivotal in establishing and nurturing the clinical field sales team within the designated region. The primary responsibilities include overseeing and directing the application of the da Vinci Surgical System within the existing client base. This encompasses managing installations, facilitating training, and promoting utilization growth within the assigned territory, as well as recruiting, training, and developing U.S. Account Managers.

  • Design and execute da Vinci Surgery sales initiatives to meet and surpass objectives set by senior leadership.
  • Enhance da Vinci Surgery adoption in all current accounts.
  • Increase da Vinci Surgery utilization by onboarding and training new surgeons across all relevant specialties.
  • Oversee the training and educational processes within the existing client base.
  • Guide the installation process for new systems.
  • Identify opportunities for new system installations and upgrades within the current client base.
  • Engage in moderate to extensive travel.
  • Provide the clinical sales team with updates on new product offerings or changes to existing products.
  • Collaborate with training and marketing teams to implement new strategies and programs as directed by senior leadership.
Qualifications:

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated success in da Vinci Surgery Sales or a minimum of 5 years in clinical sales management is essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Operating Room Environment is required.
  • Familiarity with the capital equipment sales process is necessary.
  • Previous experience in managing and leading a sales team within the medical device sector is crucial.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities are required.
  • Proficient in computer applications.
  • Training Requirements: Participation in ISI field sales management training course, interviewing skills, remote field management, sales process implementation, and presentation skills.
