Regional Sales Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the North American Commercial Organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue growth, developing and executing sales strategies, and coaching and developing a team of sales executives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration
  • Lead and coach a team of sales executives to achieve sales targets and improve sales performance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including hospitals and laboratories
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our diagnostics portfolio and its applications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and sales operations, to drive sales growth and improve sales processes
  • Develop and maintain sales performance metrics and forecasts, and provide regular updates to senior leadership
  • Identify and pursue strategic account opportunities, including corporate, government, and national accounts

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience selling into hospital or lab, or Master's degree with 7+ years of experience in the diagnostics space
  • Proven track record of sales success and leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of the diagnostics market and our portfolio of products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel 60-75% of the time
