Position Overview
The Attorney Recruiting Coordinator plays a crucial role in providing administrative and organizational support throughout the recruitment process for new attorneys and summer associates.
Key Responsibilities
- Law School Recruitment
Oversee the law school recruitment process, serving as a key liaison with law school career services and facilitating the participation of firm representatives at various school events during the academic year. - Interview Coordination
Manage the scheduling of campus interviews, including registration and all related logistics, while preparing attorneys for on-campus interviews. - Callback Interviews
Handle the callback interview process, which includes scheduling, welcoming candidates, and coordinating feedback from attorney interviewers. - Communication Management
Draft recruitment correspondence, maintain communication with law student and attorney applicants, and manage the recruitment candidate database. - Orientation Coordination
Facilitate the orientation process for lateral attorneys and summer associates. - Diversity Initiatives
Manage relationships with law school affinity groups and support the firm's sponsorship and participation in student programs aimed at enhancing diversity. - Annual Events
Assist in organizing events such as the Annual 1L Demystifying the Large Law Firm practice event, focusing on attracting diverse legal talent. - Market Analysis
Review competitive market information and contribute ideas to advance the firm's diversity and inclusion efforts.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in law firm recruiting, with a solid understanding of the summer associate recruiting lifecycle. Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills are essential, along with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain excellent organizational skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and recruiting databases is preferred.
Education
A Bachelor's degree is required.
