Position Summary:Are you an experienced attorney eager to leverage your legal skills in a fast-paced setting? As a Legal Claims Specialist, you will be instrumental in resolving a significant number of claims using innovative legal strategies.
Our organization provides comprehensive training in legal documentation and medical record evaluation, enabling you to creatively tackle complex cases.
In this position, you will manage corporate health claims, prepare appeals, and navigate administrative procedures to ensure timely payments from health insurers.
Collaborating with a vibrant team and a diverse range of clients, you will assist in formulating effective legal strategies and tools. We offer both part-time and full-time opportunities, with the possibility of remote work based on performance.Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently reviewing medical records and preparing insurer appeals.
- Exhibiting knowledge of healthcare regulations and coverage policies.
- Working alongside the legal team to develop creative arguments.
- Drafting intricate appeal documents and templates.
- Executing administrative tasks as required.
- Managing insurance claims through various systems and applications.
- Adhering strictly to HIPAA regulations.
- Law school GPA of 3.0 or above.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience as a practicing attorney.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Outstanding time management abilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing tasks efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology.
- Background in biological sciences or healthcare.
