Position Overview:

The Legal Talent Acquisition Specialist will deliver essential administrative support to the Recruiting Department of a prominent Law Firm.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Facilitating the organization and execution of the Summer Associate Program, which involves tracking pre-arrival details, drafting welcome communications, scheduling orientation sessions, conducting exit interviews, and assisting in the coordination of social events and training activities.
  • Managing all facets of the on-campus interview process, including registration for interview programs, collection of resumes, participation in job fairs, maintaining candidate files, and coordinating interview schedules.
  • Collaborating closely with law schools to promote year-round recruiting initiatives.
  • Updating and monitoring applicant information within the recruiting database.
  • Supporting recruitment efforts for lateral associate and judicial clerk candidates.
  • Maintaining the legal recruiting database and candidate records.
  • Preparing weekly reports for Partners that summarize the current candidate pipeline and recruitment activities.

Qualifications:

Candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in legal recruiting, preferably within a law firm setting.
  • Availability to work additional hours, particularly during peak recruiting seasons.
  • The ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities and meet multiple deadlines effectively.
  • A proactive approach, demonstrating ownership and commitment to the role.
  • Experience with viRecruit is advantageous.
