Job Summary:

Amentum is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, preparing and serving beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take beverage orders from customers in a quick and courteous manner.
  • Mix drinks following a recipe and using an extensive range of ingredients.
  • Provide a positive and friendly guest experience by interacting with patrons.
  • Keep bar area clean, safe, and organized.
  • Maintain a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories.
  • Organize the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory.
  • Place orders for liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies.
  • Slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks.

Requirements:

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • US or Naturalized Citizen.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Physical endurance to stand for an entire shift.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
  • Works well as part of a team and on individual tasks.
  • Able to work days, nights, and weekends.
  • Physically able to stand and move during the length of shift; able to bend and kneel through shift; able to lift up to 25 pounds or more.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a mixologist from a reputable bartending school preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience working as a bartender.
  • Must have valid government-issued clearance at time of application.
