Patient Services Coordinator

Job Summary:
Regional Cancer Care Associates is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Services Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greets patients and visitors: Welcome patients and visitors to our clinic in a prompt, courteous, and professional manner.
- Registers and schedules appointments: Check in patients, inform clinical staff of patient arrival, and schedule appointments in accordance with physician and/or office guidelines.
- Provides administrative support: Collects co-pays and balances, provides receipts, and updates demographics and insurance information in the system.
- Communicates effectively: Answers, screens, and responds to routine questions, routes to appropriate personnel, or takes thorough messages.
- Maintains confidentiality: Adheres to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regards to patient records.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent: Required.
- Receptionist or office experience: Preferred.
- Computer proficiency: Proficient in computer systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) required.
- Adaptability and commitment to quality: Demonstrates adaptability, handles day-to-day work challenges confidently, and commits to delivering high-quality products and services.
