Position Overview

We are in search of a results-oriented, experienced, and driven Key Account Manager who is prepared to exert additional effort to excel in their role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and approved information along with relevant messaging to targeted accounts
  • Meet call and sales activity objectives as established by the organization
  • Complete necessary administrative tasks
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the marketplace, therapeutic areas, products, and disease states based on a solid understanding of scientific principles and data
  • Apply knowledge of the healthcare industry, market conditions, and regulatory environment to develop business strategies and execute sales calls within compliance guidelines
  • Build, maintain, and enhance strong relationships with clients in healthcare provider offices, urgent care facilities, and pharmacies
  • Demonstrate advanced questioning techniques to gather insights on customer needs and utilize this information to tailor strategies for current promoted brands

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of successful experience in pharmaceutical sales
  • Experience in the eye care sector is essential
  • Preferred background in Ophthalmology sales
  • Previous experience with Medical Devices is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Buy and Bill processes is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to formulate and implement a territory business plan
  • Proven ability to cultivate enduring business relationships with key customers
  • Demonstrated financial acumen and analytical skills
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Strong prioritization and decision-making skills
  • Excellent presentation and written communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM/Veeva, and sales reporting technologies
