A highly respected food manufacturer is seeking a seasoned Director of Procurement to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive procurement strategy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving process improvements, negotiating with suppliers, and managing relationships to ensure the highest quality and service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic procurement plan to optimize supply chain operations and reduce costs
- Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with company policies
- Drive process improvements and implement system initiatives to deliver operating efficiencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Develop and implement a supplier diversity program to promote diversity and inclusion in the supply chain
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and negotiating with suppliers
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
