Job Title: Grants and Fellowships Coordinator

The Commonwealth of Virginia is looking for a committed Grants and Fellowships Coordinator to support the Virginia Humanities team. This position entails providing thorough assistance throughout all phases of award management within the Virginia Humanities Fellowships and Grants initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and upkeep of grant documentation using Foundant's GLM (grants management software)
  • Register new awardees in PaymentWorks
  • Process and monitor award disbursements
  • Collaborate in organizing workshops for grants and fellowships
  • Oversee website content pertaining to grant and fellowship cycles
  • Work alongside the communications team on highlighting grantees and promoting content
  • Engage with constituents through various communication channels
  • Participate in grant meetings to remain updated on industry developments
  • Conduct ongoing training in GLM/SLM systems for professional growth
  • Prepare data exports and program results for reporting needs
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
Preferred Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years of experience in grants and contracts
  • Experience within a nonprofit or humanities organization
