Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Multi-Duty Receptionist to join our team at Summit Medical Group. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our patients and healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and helpful service to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience in our office.
  • Verify and update patient information, perform registration functions, and collect copays and balances due, as necessary.
  • Assist patients with ambulatory difficulties or other needs, demonstrating a customer service-oriented approach.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date computerized scheduling and follow office scheduling policies.
  • Handle phone calls and correspondence, including appointment confirmations, referral calls, and pre-certifications.
  • File charts and coordinate lab work, as requested, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.
  • Sort and deliver mail, medical records, and other correspondence, maintaining a neat and organized workspace.
  • Attend meetings and participate in site-level Quality Improvement Activities, contributing to the success of our team.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to corporate compliance policies, upholding the highest standards of professionalism.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prefer one year of experience in a medical office setting.
