As a Patient Services Associate I, you will play a vital role in the operations of our healthcare facility. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional service to patients and their families.

Position Summary:

Your primary responsibility will be to manage administrative tasks that support the patient service functions within our medical practice. You will be the first point of contact for patients, welcoming them and guiding them through their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to established departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with quality assurance and safety standards.
  • Coordinate patient appointments with healthcare providers, gathering necessary demographic and medical information to facilitate scheduling.
  • Complete the patient registration process, including verifying insurance coverage and preparing necessary documentation.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of insurance plans and assist patients with inquiries related to their coverage.
  • Support the organization of medical records and assist with filing as needed.
  • Engage in professional development through educational programs and workshops to enhance your skills.
  • Utilize effective communication techniques to foster a collaborative environment with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to committees as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the practice.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but a combination of education and experience will be considered.

Minimum Experience: A minimum of one year in a customer service or medical office setting is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential.
