Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to established departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with quality assurance and safety standards.
- Coordinate patient appointments with healthcare providers, gathering necessary demographic and medical information to facilitate scheduling.
- Complete the patient registration process, including verifying insurance coverage and preparing necessary documentation.
- Demonstrate knowledge of insurance plans and assist patients with inquiries related to their coverage.
- Support the organization of medical records and assist with filing as needed.
- Engage in professional development through educational programs and workshops to enhance your skills.
- Utilize effective communication techniques to foster a collaborative environment with patients and healthcare team members.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to committees as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the practice.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but a combination of education and experience will be considered.
Minimum Experience: A minimum of one year in a customer service or medical office setting is preferred. Strong communication skills are essential.
