Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Provider Enrollment Coordinator to join our team at TeamHealth. As a key member of our Provider Enrollment Department, you will play a critical role in supporting the enrollment process for healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Application Preparation: Assist in preparing application sets for mailing, ensuring all necessary documents are included and accurate.
  • Document Coordination: Collaborate with Provider Enrollment Specialists and Supervisors to prepare documents for issuance of provider numbers for physicians and mid-level providers.
  • Project Support: Contribute to team efforts on projects, such as new start-ups, changes in business, or other initiatives as assigned by the Supervisor.
  • Mail and File Management: Receive and distribute incoming mail from the post office and other TeamHealth locations, maintaining organized group and individual provider files.
  • Application Processing: Prepare applications for issuance of provider numbers, make copies, and fax information as assigned.
  • Information Updates: Update information as assigned, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Correspondence and Reporting: Prepare W-9 forms, correspondence, and assist with reports as needed.
  • System Updates: Communicate information input into the IDX System and TeamWorks, including new providers and updates of provider information using the appropriate forms.
  • Annual Disclosures and Research: Responsible for annual disclosures and research revalidations, as well as payer research when requested.
Requirements
  • Meticulous Accuracy: Maintain high levels of accuracy in all tasks and responsibilities.
  • Effective Communication: Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, with a minimum of 45-50 WPM typing skills.
  • Decision-Making and Problem-Solving: Exhibit good decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Education: Possess a minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: One year of experience in a business setting with fundamental clerical skills, preferably with medical or provider enrollment background.
