Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service, managing front office operations, and working closely with our clinical team to ensure seamless patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Patient Service: Provide exceptional patient service, responding promptly and empathetically to patient needs, and exceeding patient expectations.
  • Front Office Operations: Manage front office operations, including verifying patient demographic information, updating insurance information, scanning insurance cards and driver's licenses, collecting copayments, coinsurances, deductibles, and balances.
  • Preparation: Prepare daily clinics for upcoming appointments, print related documents, create encounters for appointments, and ensure that all documentation is scanned and information entered accurately and swiftly.
  • Teamwork: Work closely with clinical colleagues and administrative teammates to develop a cohesive, high-performing team.

  • Patient Satisfaction: Respond in a prompt and empathetic manner to meet patient needs, seek opportunity to exceed patient needs and expectations, meet commitments, provide positive and memorable patient experiences, and manage difficult customer situations with poise and professionalism.

  • Problem Solving: Identify and resolve problems independently and in a timely manner, develop alternative solutions when appropriate.
  • Productivity: Meet or exceed organizational productivity standards, complete work in a timely manner, work quickly, precisely, and meticulously, and monitor own work to ensure quality.
  • Technology: Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook, and demonstrated proficiency with EHR is helpful, and NextGen preferred.
  • Attendance/Punctuality: Consistently arrive to work on time.
  • Experience: Previous successful experience in a healthcare clinic/office environment or customer service role preferred, but not required.
  • Education: High School Diploma required.
